Hi, Amy. Today I’m gonna be interviewing you about your country and stuff. So, first question: What was Vietnam like before leaving?

Ok, so, I was with family and I had school, so I was accustomed over there, but as I come here it’s kind of hard to adapt.

What do you wish to achieve in the U.S.?

I hope to get a good education and become a future physician.

What was the best thing that happened while you were in Vietnam?

Best thing happened is I have more family there and it’s more—I guess, like, I would stay with family more than over here. I would be by myself here, mostly.

What was it like coming to the U.S.?

Yeah, it was—when I came here it was nighttime. It was dark and it was cold. It was in the wintertime.

When leaving Vietnam, what was something that you wish you could have changed?

I would’ve wished that— I didn’t really know I’m moving to a whole new country. So I thought I was just going on a little trip, but definitely I would spend more time with my family ‘cause I kind of regret that.

Yeah, I would too. Alright, well thank you for letting me interview you, and yeah.
