Elena Medvedeva: My name is Elena. Our first day at the United States we flew to America. We had the long trip to America. My daughter at that time was five years old. We flew to, from, our city to Seoul, from Seoul to Los Angeles, from Los Angeles to Seattle. My sister actually met us here. The first day we stayed at her place. She organized for us all documents that we required because my daughter was about to go to Kindergarten. We arrived at the [inaudible], it was 17 years ago.
In the first day and the other days of start our life here in the United States, um there was great many surprise to me. First of all is the city of Seattle. I was so much amazed to see it all green, and later found out that people called it Emerald City.
