I came to the U.S. in 2004. It was my first international flight and I was very excited, but at the same time I was too tired from the long journey. Coming out of the airport, the two things I distinctly remember which impressed me with the amount of greenery and the wide open roads. In the next day, I visited LSU campus and had a lunch at McDonald's. It was amazing how I much I enjoyed eating there. I also went to see LSU lake where people were doing a lot [emphasis] of outdoor activities like fishing, boating and...One thing that surprised me...umm...was people greeting each other on the street. So overall, I was very impressed.
