I came into the USA to marry my fiancé. I was so excited to move in and start a new adventure. I was so in love and didn't care about everything I left behind in my original country Colombia. I am a former flight attendant and when I moved here I started from scratch, no job, no nothing. I had to build my way up. My first job was at Macy's and that's how I gain my confidence talking to people in English, enforcing my listening skills. I started my studies in a community college. After a while I became more confident. I found another job at the EWR Airport, as a OPS Agent. I Love it so much but after a while I wanted to grow more professional. That's when I decided to move to NYC and applied at a different role at the airport. I became a trainer for Emirates Airline and I love my position so far. I transferred all my transcripts from Colombia and I'm graduating this semester as a second degree student, Majoring in Economics and minoring in Sociology. I'm so happy and excited to continue growing and I'm sure I will!
